According to Paulo Sensi Filho, director of the company, the main focus of this investment is to meet the need for circular materials, that is, those that are part of a reuse cycle within the industry. “The demand for sustainability is growing a lot, and the new factory is here to meet exactly that: to supply more recycled textile yarns to the market”, says the executive.

Currently, the Eurofios Group recycles an impressive 13 tons of textile waste per year. Of this total, around 6 thousand tons are transformed into threads that return to the production chain, being reused in the manufacture of new products. With the new unit in Ascurra, the expectation is that this recycling capacity will increase considerably, allowing more waste to be given a new purpose.
