FGV offers more than 200 free online courses in areas such as Administration, Law, Finance and ESG. Registration is open throughout Brazil with a free certificate.

The training courses are self-instructional and cover topics such as Administration, Law, Finance, ESG and Communication. Participants can obtain a free certificate after passing the final test.

Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) is offering more than 200 free online courses, open to the public throughout Brazil. The content is focused on strategic areas such as Public Administration, Law, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Leadership and ESG, and can be completed at the student's own pace. The information was published on the institution's official website and also reported by media outlets such as MSN Educação.

The proposal is to expand access to quality education, focusing on the professional training of students, entrepreneurs, public servants and private sector workers who seek to improve skills required by the current market.

Open and self-paced courses: flexibility to learn at your own pace

According to the FGV portal, the courses are offered in a self-instructional model, that is, without the mediation of teachers, allowing students to study at their preferred time, with unrestricted access to the content during the course period.

Available themes include:

  • Public Administration and Governance
  • Law and Applied Legislation
  • Personal and Corporate Finance
  • Strategic Management and Marketing
  • Education and Innovation
  • Technology and Communication
  • Sustainable Development and ESG

According to FGV Educação Executiva, the content is updated and prepared by specialists from the institution, with a workload varying between 5h and 30h, depending on the topic.

Free certificate at the end of the course

One of the highlights of the initiative is the possibility of obtaining a personalized completion statement, free of charge. To do this, the student must complete the course and pass a final test with objective questions.

This certification can be used to complement extracurricular hours in university courses, to form part of a professional CV, or even to be used in selection processes and internal promotions, as highlighted by the institution itself in a note published on the FGV Portal in March 2025.

How to enroll in FGV's free courses

Registration is done entirely online. Simply access the FGV course platform, select the desired course and register with your name, email and CPF. The content is available immediately after registration.

SIGN UP FOR FGV COURSES

According to the MSN report, there are no age limits, education levels or technical requirements for most courses. FGV highlights that the program is ideal for both those starting out in their careers and those who already work in the field and want to update their skills.
