If you work in public education and are looking to specialize in inclusive practices, the opportunity to enroll in the Continuing Education course in Inclusive Education and Disability Studies in Education Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFSC) has just been extended.

What is the Continuing Education course?

The programme of Inclusive Education and Disability Studies in Education It is an excellent opportunity for those who want to delve deeper into inclusive pedagogical practices.

With 180 hours of workload, it offers complete training in theory and practice, aimed at educators and professionals in Specialized Educational Assistance (AEE) and educational support for students with disabilities.

The course modality is Distance Education (EaD), which allows participants to access the content from anywhere. In addition, the course has biweekly face-to-face meetings at IFSC centers in Hut e Shark, facilitating direct contact between students and teachers.

Classes are scheduled to start on 27 May 2025, and the end will occur in December 23, 2025.

As inscriptions are directed to public education professionals, specifically for:

  • Basic education teachers from the municipal, state or federal public network;
  • Professionals in Specialized Educational Assistance (AEE);
  • Educational support professionals who work with students with disabilities.
