The Federal Institute of Paraná (IFPR) announced the opening of the selection process for free technical courses subsequent to High School in the online modality (EAD). The vacancies are offered through Notice 173/2024 and distributed in several centers of the state. The objective is to provide professional training to those who have already completed High School, expanding opportunities in the business market.

Online technical courses (EAD) are aimed at professional training at a technical level, allowing students to obtain a qualification recognized in the market. The training is 80% online and 20% in-person or synchronous, using the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA/IFPR). The workload varies from 800 to 1.230 hours, depending on the course, and the activities include classes, forums, seminars and assessments.

Distribution of vacancies and locations of offer

The Federal Institute-IFPR offers vacancies at different centers throughout the state, allowing candidates from different regions to participate. Each center offers a specific number of vacancies, according to local demand. Free online technical courses (EAD) offered include Logistics, Occupational Safety, Environment, Public Services and Sales.

Selection process

Candidates will be selected through a public electronic draw, ensuring transparency and equal opportunities. Places are reserved for quotas for candidates who self-declare as black, mixed race, indigenous, quilombola, people with disabilities and students from public schools.

Application requirements

To participate, candidates must have completed high school and have a CPF and identity document. Internet access is also required to follow online classes (EAD).

The available courses are:

  • Logistics Technician (800h – 12 months)
  • Public Services Technician (800h – 12 months)
  • Sales Technician (800h – 12 months)
  • Environmental Technician (1.230h – 18 months)
  • Occupational Safety Technician (1.230h – 18 months).

Selection process schedule

  • Registration: 13/01/2025 to 14/02/2025
  • Electronic draw: 27 and 28/02/2025
  • Results announced: 03/06/2025
  • Registration period: 11/14 to 03/2025/XNUMX
  • Classes start: 14/04/2025.
