Federal Institute opens new vacancies for free technical courses in 2025, with options for different areas and online registration.
The Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul (IFMS) is accepting applications for the selection process free technical courses. There are 280 vacancies available, divided into two modalities: Youth and Adult Education (Proeja) and Subsequent Technical, aimed at both students who have already completed high school and those who have not yet completed it. The courses are scheduled to begin in the first semester of 2025.
Proeja modality for young people and adults
In the Proeja modality, the Federal Institute offers 160 places for free technical courses.
This modality is intended for candidates who have completed elementary school and are at least 18 years old.

There are two courses available: Administration and Maintenance and IT Support, both carried out at night.
Places for these courses are distributed across the campuses of Aquidauana, Corumbá, Dourados and Naviraí.
Each campus offers 40 places for one of the technical courses, totaling 160 free training opportunities for young people and adults.
This IFMS initiative aims to promote education and professional qualification through free technical courses accessible to all.
Subsequent technical modality for complete secondary education
For candidates who have already completed high school, the Federal Institute offers the Subsequent Technician modality, with 120 places distributed between the Agriculture and Marketing courses.
This selection process is aimed exclusively at those who have completed high school and wish to undertake a course free and specialized technician.
Subsequent Technician vacancies are available on the Dourados, Naviraí and Ponta Porã campuses, in the evening period.
The Agriculture course will have 80 places (40 in Naviraí and 40 in Ponta Porã), while the Marketing course offers 40 places in Dourados.
Thus, IFMS enables the training of qualified professionals through its free technical courses that are accessible to the community.
Federal Institute selection process calendar
Candidates interested in courses Free technicians from the Federal Institute must be aware of the schedule.
After the registration period, from November 1st to December 13th, 2024, the electronic draw for vacancies will take place on January 10th, 2025.
The first call for registration is scheduled for February 10-14, 2025, with classes scheduled to start on March 10, 2025.
