How to register for the Federal Institute selection process
Registration for the EAD Tutor vacancies is free and can be completed until September 21, 2024, using the Form Available in the Notice. Federal Institute selection process for Remote Tutoring will take place in two stages, namely: approval of registrations and professional and scoring evaluation.
The selection for the EAD Tutor positions will be conducted by the FIC Course coordinators, and it is the responsibility of each candidate to correctly follow the selection stages. The final classification will be announced on the institute's website, in descending order of each candidate's score.
The FIC course “Challenges of Democratic Management and their Relations with Practices in Human Rights, Inclusive Education and Diversity” (180h) will be offered in distance learning mode. Classes and activities will take place online, using the IFRJ Moodle platform.
What are the responsibilities of the Remote Tutor?
It is the sole responsibility of those approved for the EAD Tutor vacancies to have computer equipment and a cell phone with internet access for the management, organization and execution of course tutoring activities and online meetings. The candidate must have a computer that allows audio and video transmission for video conferences and participation in chats and discussion forums.
The student will also be responsible for mediating communication of content between the teacher trainer and students, monitoring the activities of students, according to the Course schedule, ensuring that requests from students are responded to within a maximum period of 24 business hours, assisting students with difficulties related to their study process, motivating them to explore the teaching material and helping them find solutions to the demands they may have regarding the course content, and carrying out the evaluation of students using the instruments indicated by the responsible teacher trainer, supervisor or course coordinator.
