Free registrations start on September 16th and run until October 18th; course aims to train professionals in Environment and Agroecology

If you are looking for a specialization that combines sustainability and practical solutions to environmental issues, the Instituto Federal Baiano has an excellent opportunity for you! The Instituto Federal Baiano (IF Baiano), Valença Campus, is offering 30 places for the specialization course in Environment and Agroecology, scheduled to start in 2025. The course is aimed at those who want to be trained to act critically and decisively in the face of socioeconomic and environmental problems.

Course details 

The Instituto Federal Baiano is offering a total of 30 vacancies, distributed as follows:

  • 22 vacancies for broad competition;
  • 6 vacancies for candidates who self-declare as black, brown or indigenous;
  • 2 vacancies for people with disabilities.

The total course load is 360 hours, spread over two years, with classes starting on March 10, 2025. The course will be in-person, with meetings on Monday evenings, Tuesday mornings and afternoons, and weekends that will be combined throughout the school year. This specialization is ideal for those seeking robust and in-depth training in sustainable practices and environmental solutions.

Instituto Federal Baiano offers qualification courses in Guanambi

In addition to the specialization in Valença, the Instituto Federal Baiano, Guanambi campus, also has open opportunities. There are 20 vacancies for the free Fabric Painting Artisan course and another 20 vacancies for the Organic Horticulture course, both aimed at women. These courses are short-term and are part of the Mulheres Mil Program, an initiative that aims to promote the training and professional qualification of women. The selected students will receive a scholarship of R$250 per month, as a way to encourage their participation.

Registration for the qualification courses in Guanambi was held between September 12th and 14th, in person, at the Guanambi Campus Secretariat, which is located in the Rural Area – Ceraíma District, Guanambi-BA. Service will be provided at the following times: from 8 am to 11:30 am and from 13:30 pm to 17:30 pm. It will be necessary to present the required documents and fill out the form, which will be done with the help of a server from the Instituto Federal Baiano.

For those who wish to enroll in the Fabric Painting Craftsmanship course, registrations can also be made at the Aroeira Quilombola Community, located in Palmas de Monte Alto, where the course will be taught.

Registration is completely free and must be done between September 16th and October 18th, through form available in the official notice. The target audience is people with degrees in any field of knowledge, recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), who are interested in working in the environmental and agroecological sector.
