The free undergraduate courses offered by the Federal University-UFJF follow the institution's quota system, divided into nine access groups. Of these, eight are aimed at affirmative action, while one group is intended for general competition. The opportunities include:

Pedagogy
The Pedagogy degree qualifies educators to work in Early Childhood Education, in the initial years of Elementary Education, in the literacy of young people and adults, and in Educational Management. Professionals can work in both school and non-school environments, promoting democratic management of education.

This course aims to train highly qualified professionals committed to ethics and transparency in public administration. Graduates develop skills to manage public policies and act in accordance with government legislation and guidelines.

Selection Criteria
Admission to the courses will be based on the analysis of the average grades in Portuguese and Mathematics, according to the high school transcript. Thus, 80% of the vacancies will be reserved for the general public, while the remaining 20% will be reserved for public school teachers who are currently working but do not have higher education or who work in areas other than their original training.
Teachers applying for exclusive vacancies will need to prove their employment relationship with their respective education networks, in addition to being duly registered on the Freire platform.
Registration process for free courses
Those interested in free undergraduate courses can register between February 10 and 21, 2025, exclusively from the Copese website. After completing the digital form, it will be necessary to generate and pay the Federal Collection Guide (GRU), in the amount of R$ 150, by the deadline of February 21, 2025, only through Banco do Brasil.
Those who wish to request an exemption from the registration fee will be able to do so between February 10 and 12. During the registration process, it is essential that candidates correctly choose the center where they wish to study.
The final result of the selection process will be published on the Copese website at 16:21 p.m. on March 2025, 22. Guidelines on deadlines, required documentation and enrollment details will be available on the Academic Records Coordination (Cdara) website. Classes are scheduled to begin on April 2025, XNUMX.
