The Federal University of ABC (UFABC) published Notice 14/2024, offering 210 vacancies for free lato sensu postgraduate courses in History, Science, Teaching and Society, in the distance learning modality. Course Objective and Workload
The aim of the specialization course is to train teachers with a background in humanities, social, natural or exact sciences, deepening their knowledge in history, science and their relationships with education and society. The postgraduate course will be entirely online (EAD), with a total workload of 360 hours. Activities include theoretical classes, discussion forums and assessments during virtual meetings.

Selection Processes for Free Courses
The selection process will be based on the length of teaching or school management experience. The classification will be based on the analysis of documents proving work in public educational institutions. In addition, there are vacancies reserved for affirmative action candidates, such as black, indigenous, transgender and refugee candidates, who must submit self-declarations and additional documents when registering for the free courses.
Registration Requirements
Applicants for free postgraduate courses must have a bachelor's or undergraduate degree in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences or exact sciences. They must also demonstrate teaching or school management experience in public institutions and have access to the internet for distance learning activities. All requested documents must be scanned and sent in PDF format during registration.
