The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pará (IFPA) has just opened registration for the Unified Selection Process (PSU) 2025.1, offering 3.065 vacancies in courses of Intermediate Level Technical Professional Education in the form integrated with secondary education. This is a great opportunity for students who have completed primary education and are looking for free, quality technical training.

Os technical courses These free courses aim to train professionals capable of working in various technical areas. Lasting up to four years, they combine general secondary education with specific subjects in the chosen technical area. Classes are in person and include practical and theoretical activities, such as regular classes, forums, seminars and assessments, offering complete training aligned with market needs.

Available vacancies and locations

As 3.065 vacancies are distributed among the various campuses of the Federal Institute-IFPA, such as The cities of Abaetetuba, Altamira, Ananindeua, Braganca, Belém, Breves, Cametá, Castanhal, Concepción, Itaituba, Marabá Industrial, Marabá Rural, Obidos, Paragominas, Parauapebas, Santarém and Tucuruí are the cities of the state of Bahia, .... Each campus offers different courses, and the candidate must choose the campus and the course at the time of registration.

Selection process for technical courses

The selection process will be carried out based on the academic performance of the candidates, considering the grades of Portuguese language e Mathematics obtained in the 7rd and 8th years elementary school. There are places reserved for candidates from public schools and quota policies for blacks, indigenous people, quilombolas and people with disabilities. In addition, IFPA's specific affirmative action policies also apply.

Application requirements

Candidates must have completed or be completing the 9th grade of elementary school. It is also necessary to present a school transcript or equivalent document at the time of registration. Those who opt for quotas or affirmative action must provide specific supporting documents. To participate, internet access is required, as registration and submission of documents will be done online.
