Registration is now open for the free online professional qualification course in the Promotion, Protection and Defense of the Rights of Children and Adolescents
The Federal Institute of Rondônia (IFRO) released the Notice No. 18/2024/REIT – PROEX/IFRO, of September 17, 2024, for the selection of students for the professional qualification course in Promotion, Protection and Defense of the Rights of Children and Adolescents. The free online course is part of the Rondônia School of Councils project and aims to train professionals linked to the Child and Adolescent Rights Guarantee System (SGDCA), with remaining vacancies available. The training will be free and there will be no registration fee.
The free online course aims to improve the skills of SGDCA professionals, addressing essential topics for the promotion and defense of children and adolescents' rights. With a total workload divided into 50% in-person and 50% distance learning, participants will have the opportunity to attend classes, participate in forums, seminars and assessments. The workload includes online and in-person activities, distributed across meetings in the hub cities and classes in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA).

The in-person meetings will take place on specific dates between October and November 2024, as detailed in the schedule of the notice.
Selection Process for the free course on Protection and Defense of the Rights of Children and Adolescents
The selection process will be carried out based on the analysis of the information provided in the form Registration. Priority will be given to adolescents, members of the children's and adolescents' rights council, public servants and guardians. In the event of a tie, preference will be given to the oldest candidate. Extra points will be awarded to people with disabilities, self-declared black or brown people, and transgender people.

- Link with the Child and Adolescent Rights Guarantee System (SGDCA);
- Availability to participate in face-to-face meetings;
- Provide a valid email address and telephone number;
- Fill out the registration form correctly.
