Federal University offers free online courses in the health area

UFSC offers free online courses in the health area for professionals and students in the field

The Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), through the SUS Open University System Center, registration is open for 16 free and fully virtual courses, focused on the health area. The training courses are offered in the Distance Learning (EaD) modality and can be accessed through the UNA-SUS portal, which offers 81 courses in total.

These courses are primarily intended for Health professionals, but most are open to anyone interested in the topics covered.

The trainings are not available on the Arouca Platform, as had been initially reported. The Arouca Platform is offline, and for this reason, course graduates are receiving concluding statements.

Free and self-instructional courses

The courses are self-instructional, allowing students to progress at their own pace, which facilitates access to the content. The course load varies according to the chosen course, and there are also options open to people from other areas who want to expand their knowledge.

To register, simply access the UNA-SUS website, log in or create an account. There, you can choose the desired course, register and begin your studies in a self-instructional way and at your own pace.
