The Sérgio Arouca National School of Public Health (ENSP), of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), launched the Notice no. 76/2024 for the selection process of the free specialization course “Permanent Education: Health and Education from an Integrative Perspective”.
This postgraduate course, carried out in partnership with the Universidade Aberta do Brasil (UAB), offers 200 places for current students and 80 vacancies for substitutes , being a unique opportunity for professional training for workers in the health and education sectors.
Objective of the free course and workload
The free course's main objective is to train professionals to develop strategic actions based on Education Permanent, promoting the integration between health and education. Offered in distance learning mode, the program has 384 hours, of which 328 hours are carried out online in a Virtual Learning Environment (AVA) and 56 hours in person, divided into three mandatory meetings.

The training includes learning units, forums, seminars and a Final Course Project (TCC).
Vacancies and locations offered
There are 200 vacancies available for full-time employees and 80 for substitutes, distributed among UAB centers in states such as Goiás, Piauí, Paraná, São Paulo, Minas Gerais and others. The distribution includes categories of broad competition and affirmative actions, ensuring representation for black people, indigenous people, people with disabilities, transgender people and transvestites.
Selection process
The selection for the Fiocruz online postgraduate course will be based on the analysis of the resume and letter of intent, totaling up to 10 points. Candidates who do not achieve a minimum score of 6,0 points will be disqualified. In addition, affirmative actions include procedures such as racial heteroidentification and biopsychosocial assessment for PcD.
Course Registration Requirements
Candidates for the free online course at Fiocruz must have a degree, be able to use computers, have internet access and be available for 8 to 10 hours per week for the course, in addition to being able to participate in the mandatory in-person meetings.
