The Federal Institute of Sergipe (IFS) has launched Notice No. 01/2025, announcing more than 1.010 vacancies for subsequent technical courses, aimed at those who have already completed high school. These free technical courses are an excellent opportunity for continuing education and professional development in various areas, offered at eight campuses spread across the state.

The subsequent technical courses of the Federal Institute-IFS aim to prepare professionals to meet market demands, promoting quality technical qualification. Classes are in person and distributed in afternoon, morning and evening shifts, depending on the campus and the chosen course. Lasting up to two years, the program includes theoretical and practical classes, seminars and regular assessments.

Vacancies and locations offered

There are 1.010 vacancies distributed among the following campuses: Aracaju, São Cristóvão, Estância, Lagarto, Propriá, Socorro, Itabaiana and Tobias Barreto. The vacancies include broad competition, quotas for students from public schools, and a 5% reserve for people with disabilities (PcD).

Selection process

The selection for qualification will be done by public electronic draw, ensuring total transparency. Half of the places are reserved for students who completed high school in public schools, in accordance with the Quota Law. Within these reserves, there are subdivisions for blacks, browns, indigenous people and PcDs.

Application requirements

To enroll in free technical courses, candidates must have completed high school and present documents such as CPF, ID and academic transcript. It is important to be careful when choosing the course, campus and shift when enrolling, as changes will not be allowed after the deadline.
