The French multinational Legrand is expanding and, to strengthen its European operations, is creating a center of excellence in electronics manufacturing in the United Kingdom. The new facility will be in Cramlington, a city near New Castle, and will house advanced technologies to optimize manufacturing processes. The highlight will be the production of lighting controls CP Electronics and line items Legrand Care.
With a modern and sustainable structure, the new location will have painéis solares and digitalization technologies to reduce environmental impact and expand production capacity. In the words of Legrand UK & Ireland’s CEO himself, Pascal Stutz , this new unit “underlines Legrand’s confidence in the UK manufacturing sector.”
