The Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ) announced the opening of 150 vacancies for free distance specialization in Data Analysis as a Method to Support Public Policies. The course will be offered by Open University of Brazil (UAB) Program and aims to qualify professionals for analysis and data interpretation in public management, according to the Hora Brasil website.
With 405 hours of coursework and duration of three semesters, the postgraduate course will be taught in a virtual environment, but will include face-to-face meetings at the teaching centers located in:

Specialization disciplines of the UFRRJ online course
The UFRRJ course curriculum is structured to provide technical knowledge and applied in data analysis. Check out some of the disciplines:
🔹 1st Semester: Information Technology for Public Management, Exploratory Analysis and Data Visualization, Law and Public Policies.
🔹 2st Semester: Probability and Statistical Inference, Regional Development, Statistical Modeling.
🔹 3st Semester: Multivariate Analysis, Preparation and Analysis of Public Projects, Spatial Statistics.
Additionally, we bring the Final Course Work (TCC) will be developed throughout the specialization and defended by videoconference.
Who can enroll in UFRRJ online courses?
The specialization is aimed at federal, state and municipal agents who have a degree recognized by the MEC. If there are still vacancies available After selecting this audience, other candidates may be called.
