If you are an engineer and have ever thought about changing sectors, the aeronautical field could be the chance you have been waiting for. But what makes this area so promising?

In recent years, the Brazilian aerospace sector has demonstrated significant growth, and the SENAI CIMATEC University Center decided to take advantage of this moment to launch a postgraduate course in aeronautical engineering.

Why does this matter? According to information from Senai, the course is important because it not only responds to current industry demands, but also anticipates future market needs.

Senai Course

In a strategic move, SENAI CIMATEC, which is known for its excellence in innovation and technological development, announced the launch of this specialization shortly after the news of the creation of the Bahia Aerospace Technology Park, which is being installed at the Salvador air base.

This new infrastructure, together with the SENAI CIMATEC Aeroespacial Competence Center, promises to transform the region into a reference hub in the area.

The course, with a workload of 360 hours, will be offered both in person and in digital format, allowing engineers from all regions to participate.

Furthermore, the methodology adopted by CIMATEC guarantees that students will have practical experiences directly aligned with the real demands of the aeronautical industry, a unique opportunity to learn in an environment that simulates job market conditions.

According to CIMATEC's Vice-Dean of Planning & Management, Verena Alcantara, “this launch represents a significant step in SENAI CIMATEC's mission to drive innovation and excellence in production chains, especially in the aeronautical sector”.

The more aeronautical engineers, the more new engineers to take the place of old engineers with 10, 15 and 20 years of high salaries who are replaced by new graduates who pay less, an unfair and regrettable cycle in Brazil.

Everyone has a chance to grow in life. If you don't start as a newbie, you'll never become an experienced person. Not every company thinks that way.

I always had a dream of being an aerospace engineer or an aeronautical electrical or mechanical engineer. These courses are very far from me. In the interior of São Paulo, Senai should give scholarships to those who are already from the interior.
