Registration for the new selection process for the Civil Police of Bahia begins on October 1st, offering 19 vacancies in various areas.

The Civil Police of the State of Bahia announced the opening of registrations for a new selective process which starts on October 1, 2024. The objective is to fill 19 vacancies and form a reserve list in different areas, for professionals with complete secondary and higher education. Applications can be made until October 11, exclusively online.

Details of the selection process

Registration starts at midnight on October 0st and runs until 1:23 pm on October 59th, 11.

Interested parties should access the Gov website to complete the enrollment.

The registration fee and other additional details will be available in the notice, which was published in the Official Gazette of the State of Bahia on September 19, 2024.

Candidates called for the vacancies will be hired with a salary ranging from R$2.806,56 to R$3.373,21, in addition to benefits that include transportation assistance and a meal assistance of R$20,00 per day worked. 

The working hours will be 40 hours per week, and the professionals will work in the city of Salvador, with contracts of up to 24 months, with the possibility of extension.

Vacancies available at the Civil Police

As vacancies offered by the Civil Police of Bahia are divided between different areas and levels of training.

The opportunities include one vacancy for a Higher Level Technician in Anthropology, two vacancies in Geography, one vacancy in Sociology, two vacancies in Information Technology, two vacancies in Archives, five vacancies in Legal Sciences, one vacancy in Accounting Sciences and three vacancies in Statistics.

There are also two vacancies for Mid-Level Technicians in the Administrative area. These positions are designed to meet the needs of the Civil Police, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of operations in the region.

Evaluation of Civil Police candidates

The evaluation of the candidates will be carried out through a single stage of curriculum analysis.

Aspects such as professional experience, qualification and training courses will be considered.

The result of the selection process will be announced on November 26, 2024.

The selection process will be valid for one year from the date of approval, and may be extended once for the same period, if the Administration deems it necessary.

The expectation is that the new professionals will be able to contribute to the demands of the Civil Police, working in different areas and helping to maintain public safety.
