Model remains in production in the Chinese market with exclusive front restyling and 1.5 naturally aspirated engine
Despite being discontinued in Brazil in 2021, the Honda Fit remains strong in the Chinese market. Now, the model is undergoing a striking visual restyling, with a new front design that brings its style closer to that of Toyota models.
Revamped look with focus on Chinese audience
The new version of the Honda Fit, revealed in images from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, presents changes concentrated in the front. The divided headlights integrated into the grille, added to the new bumper in dark plastic, gave the model a more aggressive look and, according to observers, similar to that of some Toyota vehicles. The rear has had more discreet changes, limited to the bumper. changes were made especially for the Chinese market, focusing on local preferences.
Honda Fit mechanics remain unchanged
Under the hood, the Chinese Fit maintains the 1.5 naturally aspirated 124 hp engine, coupled to the automatic CVT transmission. Despite the advances in vehicle electrification in the country, this version continues without hybrid technology — something present in other Fit variants around the world. The choice to maintain the traditional mechanical set meets a segment of consumers who still prioritize simplicity and affordable cost.

Honda Fit situation in Brazil
In Brazil, the Honda Fit was replaced by the City Hatchback, which took on the role of compact hatchback in the brand's lineup. Even so, the Fit maintains a loyal following in used market, with good value and a reputation for mechanical reliability and internal versatility. According to Autoesporte, there are no plans to relaunch the model here.
