Honda revolutionizes the Brazilian market with cheap Hatch, Sedan, and SUVs to annihilate sales of Corolla Cross, Yaris, Renegade, Kardian, Nivus and Pulse

Honda has renewed its entire vehicle catalog for Brazil The changes began with the departure of the national Fit and Civic for the arrival of the City family with Hatch and Sedan options. Following are the new HRV, Civic Accord and ZRV. The manufacturer will soon also offer the CRV for those who don't know.

But it doesn't stop there, Honda is preparing an important launch for our market which is the arrival of a new SUV a little smaller than the HRV that came to fight with Fiat Pulse, Renault Kardian, Volkswagen Nivos, T Cross, Jeep Renegade, among others.

Honda launches mini SUV for R$90 that gets 17km per liter!

Honda resurrects WRV in Brazil as a weapon against the Toyota Yaris Cross

Bomb! The Honda WRV, a really interesting car that stopped being manufactured way back when, now returns with the same name. That's right this classic will be resurrected in Brazil as a weapon against the Toyota Yaris Cross, because it has basically the same measurements as the Yaris Cross, and very low fuel consumption, not to mention that the price that Honda promises to bring this car is very attractive to go head to head with Toyota's Yaris Cross.

The look of the car is very different from what we saw in the old WRV and nothing like the current models. Nothing bold in appearance, the compact SUV has a more conservative look. The front has a very large grille and the headlights are sharper. The rear is a bit reminiscent of the HRV and ZRV SUV, due to the layout of the lights.

The good news is that these more conventional lines can help a lot with internal space, especially for the heads of occupants in the second row of seats.

Arriving in Brazil, the new Honda should share parts with the City family

Hondas tend to have the same interior design standard City, HRV and Civic show this but the Elevate WRV is a little different, it has a steering wheel with different buttons and a front panel with a different design.

Arriving in Brazil, the new Honda must share parts with the City family, so it must have an interior that is different from other markets and closer to that of national products.

Honda WRH has a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 122 horsepower and 14,8 kg of torque

Its dimensions: it is 4,32 in length 1,790 in width 1,650 in height and 2,650 in wheelbase, it is very big inside this car! As a reference, it is a little smaller than the HRV by 7 cm, but it has a slightly longer wheelbase, so if you are inside this car you will feel like you are in a larger and very comfortable car.

Where the SUV is already sold, it always offers a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with 122 horsepower and 14,8 kg of torque. In Brazil it must have a Flex System basically from the City with a 1.5 engine that produces 126 horsepower for gasoline or ethanol, the transmission is always CVT with gear simulation.

WRV drinks like some hybrid cars like Toyota Corolla Cross hybrid

In Indian measurement standards, the Honda SUV has an average consumption of 15,3 km/l with manual transmission and 17 km/l with automatic transmission, that is, it drinks like some hybrid cars such as the Toyota Corolla Cross hybrid, which is The range of this car in the city is nothing new to anyone, which is between 17 km/l and 19 km/l.

Honda's car is not a non-electric hybrid, but it has consumption very similar to a Corolla Cross and this will make the competition move.

The price of the new WRV that comes to face the Toyota Yaris should be a little similar to the prices of the Pulse, Kardian, Nivus, T Cross and Jeep Renegade

Now the price of the new WRV should be a little similar to the prices of the Pulse, Kardian, Nivus, T Cross and Jeep Renegade. Just to give you an idea, this car should start at R$100 and go up to R$140.

Remembering that it is a little below the WRV, it is a car that will go head to head with the Toyota and Yaris Cross, so the price has to be a little cheaper and offer a lot.

There's a little surprise, Honda's new WRV has adaptive cruise control, a 360º camera and is a car that also corrects lanes on its own. There will be several versions, a very interesting car that will soon arrive at dealerships here in Brazil
