How about a free course from home with R$2 in your pocket? The Ministry of Culture is offering 1.000 places with scholarships in literary writing!

If you dream of improving your skills in literary writing, Ministry of Culture, in partnership with Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), there is an unmissable opportunity for you! Registration is now open for a free online course, which grants R$2 scholarships to yours 100 best students.

Literary writing course: registration open

The course, entitled Territories of Writing, offers 1.000 vacancies and it's completely free. Registration is open until November 30, 2024. Classes start in 15 January 2025 and will be taught by renowned professors and writers, providing comprehensive, quality training.

diversity and inclusion

The course is intended 25% of vacancies for black people, 10% to indigenous people e 5% for people with disabilities (PCD), reinforcing its commitment to inclusion and cultural diversity. This initiative is part of the Writing Territories Program, member of National Reading and Writing Policy (PNLE), according to varginhadigital.

Structure and certification

Will be formed 50 classes, each with 20 students, with the support of dedicated monitors. At the end of the course, participants who meet all requirements will receive a extension certificate issued by MinC and UFRGS.

Selection process and scholarships

The selection of candidates will be made based on the analysis of a questionnaire and the documents sent, with those who achieve the desired results being approved. minimum score of 7 on a scale of 0 to 10. During the course, the texts will be evaluated by monitors and experts. The 100 best students will receive a scholarship of R$ 2.000,00 per month, between August 2025 and January 2026, to support the completion of his literary works.

Learning paths

The course covers seven learning tracks: chronicle, tale, dramaturgy, children's literature, youth literature, long narrative e poetry. Each track is taught by experts, such as the teacher Claudia Caimi in chronicle and the teacher Gustavo Ruckert in poetry.
