IFMG's free postgraduate program offers 80 spots in four management areas, fully online and with a certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education. Registration closes today, and the course is scheduled to begin in the first semester of 2026.
The Federal Institute of Minas Gerais (IFMG) closes at 23:59 PM this Saturday, October 18, 2025, registrations for the Lato Sensu postgraduate degree in Management, course FreeFully the distance and recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC):.
The process is governed by the Notice no. 972/2025 and offers 80 vacancies distributed in four areas of specialization, with the start scheduled for first half of 2026.
Free and 100% online course
The specialization will be carried out through Moodle platform and has no monthly fees.

with duration of 24 months, the course seeks to develop leadership, planning and innovation skills, preparing professionals to work in public and private organizations.
At the end, the student must present a Course Completion Work (TCC), which may be prepared in the format of scientific article ou technical report, according to the program guidelines.
Four areas of specialization in management
The vacancies are divided into four areas of emphasis, with 20 opportunities in each one: Entrepreneurship and Business, Digital marketing, People Management e Technology and inovation.
Each track brings together specific content.
In the area of Entrepreneurship, the focus is on developing sustainable businesses and market strategies.
Em Digital marketing, students learn about strategic communication and online presence management.
The specialization in People Management addresses leadership, organizational culture and human development, while Technology and inovation deals with agile methodologies and digital transformation.
Reserved places and inclusion criteria
The notice provides for the reservation of vacancies for different candidate profiles.
In each emphasis, there are 15 vacancies for general competition, 4 aimed at black and indigenous candidates e 1 for people with disabilities.
Proof of conditions must be made at the stage of document analysis, valid only for those who opt for quotas.
IFMG reinforces that the reservation of places follows national affirmative action policies in federal educational institutions.
Who can participate
You can sign up professionals from any field, as long as they have undergraduate degree recognized by the MEC.

The flexibility of the modality EAD allows the student to combine the course with work or other activities.
How will the selection be?
The selection will be composed of two steps.
The first is a online objective test on 25 multiple choice questions, which will occur in November 7th, 2025, a 19 am - 21 pm.
The candidate needs to achieve minimum of 60 points to be approved.
In the second stage, the document verification only those registered in reserved places.
All deadlines and results will be officially published on the IFMG website, according to the schedule in the notice.
Training and certification

It is necessary to fill in all the requested fields, attach the required documents and pay the fee of R$60,00 within the deadline. The proof must be kept until the registration is approved.
After closing, the candidate will be able to follow the schedule, the application of the objective test 7 November and the other stages of the selection process directly on the institution’s portal.
