According to Sergio Arouca National School of Public Health (ENSP) from Fiocruz, responsible for organizing the course, the initiative has the support of Open University of Brazil (UAB/MEC).
Entitled Specialization Course in Continuing Education: Health and Education from an Integrative Perspective, the program seeks to train professionals prepared to face the challenges of education and health in the 21st century.
The main focus of the course is practical and critical training, allowing participants to develop strategic skills to implement integrated actions in both areas.

- Curriculum vitae: Professional and academic experience can add up to 4 points.
- Letter of intent: Analysis of the candidate's objective and its alignment with the course can yield up to 6 points.
Candidates who achieve at least 6 points will be approved. In the event of a tie, criteria such as connection to public service, length of experience and age will be used to break the tie.
