Those selected will have the chance to combine theory and practice, with online classes taught by IFSULDEMINAS and practical activities carried out directly at the facilities of XCMG, one of the largest heavy machinery manufacturers in the world.

Distribution of Places and Inclusion Criteria
The selection process offers a total of 45 vacancies, which will be distributed as follows:
- Broad competition (AC): 45% of vacancies are reserved for candidates who do not opt for other options;
- People with disabilities (General PCD): 5% of vacancies reserved for candidates with disabilities, regardless of their educational background;
- Affirmative actions: 50% of places are reserved for students who completed their entire elementary education in public schools. Within this percentage, there are specific quotas for candidates who self-declare as black, mixed race, indigenous, quilombola and people with disabilities, in addition to income criteria in accordance with current legislation.
The distribution aims to ensure that young people from different social backgrounds have equal access to opportunities, increasing their chances of entering the job market.
Requirements for Participation in IFSULDEMINAS
To apply for the technical course in mechanics in the distance learning modality with practical learning at XCMG, interested parties must meet some essential criteria:
- Be between 18 and 22 years old at the time of registration;
- Reside in Pouso Alegre (MG) and be available to complete practical work hours at XCMG;
- Have completed high school by the date of enrollment;
- Present a reservist exemption, in the case of male candidates.

Registration will be open until February 21, 2025 and must be carried out exclusively through the official IFSULDEMINAS website.
Candidates should pay attention to the selection process calendar:
- Until 21/02/2025: Registration open and submission of documentation;
- Until 21/02/2025: Document Analysis;
- 28 / 02 / 2025: Electronic draw and publication of the list of classified candidates;
- 06/03 a 21/03/2025: Entrance examinations conducted by XCMG.
