Details of vacancies and courses
According to UFSCar, these courses will be offered free of charge through the Open University of Brazil (UAB) program, and are aimed at professionals interested in deepening their knowledge in strategic areas of education.
There are two specialization options, both focused on relevant and current topics for the Brazilian educational environment.:
Early childhood intervention: practices centered on the family and natural contexts
- Number of vacancies: 300
- Focus: Train professionals to work with young children and their families, adopting practices that favor child development in natural and family contexts.
- Available poles: Sao Francisco Beach, Botucatu, Diadema, Interlagos, Bristol Park, Pirajussara and Village of Beauties.
Improving the school climate and strengthening distributed leadership in public basic education schools
- Number of vacancies: 200
- Focus: Prepare educators and managers to improve the school climate and strengthen leadership in the school environment, directly impacting the quality of teaching.

Free registration, but with registration fee
Os courses are completely free, without charging monthly fees or registration fees for the selection process.
However, There is a one-time registration fee of R$50. for approved candidates, although there is the possibility of requesting an exemption from this amount if the participant meets the criteria defined by UFSCar.
Prerequisites and priority criteria for registration
To participate, the candidate must have a degree recognized by the MEC. In addition, some professional categories have priority in the selection process, being them:
- Priority 1: Basic education teachers, who have preference for places on courses.
- Priority 2: Managers and other education professionals.
- Priority 3: Early childhood professionals, including those working in health, special education, social work, and rehabilitation, as described in early intervention programs and specialized educational services (SEAs).
Documents required for registration
According to UFSCar guidelines, the required documents include:
- identification document: ID, CPF or CIN, or a valid driver's license.
- Graduation diploma: Course must be recognized by the MEC.
- Proof of employment relationship: Updated, only for candidates applying for positions reserved for basic education teachers.
Class format and in-person support centers
Specializations are 100% online, offering flexibility and accessibility for participants.
Although the vacancies are distributed among centers in several cities, in-person attendance will not be necessary.
Students will be able to take courses remotely, accessing the content from any location.
