In addition to a degree, the candidate is required to have a specialization, master's degree or doctorate in any area.
The salary for the position varies according to the candidate's academic background. The remuneration ranges from R$3.412,63 for graduates to R$6.356,02 for PhDs.

Exemption requests must be made between August 29 and September 09, 2024.
The selection process for the position of Substitute Professor at the Federal Institute will consist of two main stages. The first is the Qualification Test, which will be eliminatory and classificatory in nature, and will take place on September 30 and October 01, 2024.
The second stage is the Teaching Performance Test, which will be held in person on October 09, 2024.
