SESI has a job opening for an Occupational Safety Technician. The position requires technical training, experience and knowledge of safety standards.

This Tuesday, (17/09), the Social Service of Industry (SESI) has a job opportunity for the position of Occupational Safety Technician at the Santa Rosa unit. What are the requirements required by SESI?

To apply for job opportunity, the professional must have completed a technical course in Occupational Safety and be duly registered with the Ministry of Labor and Employment.

Practical experience is a fundamental requirement, with knowledge of Regulatory Standards (NRs) 11, 33 and 35 being essential.

In addition, it is desirable to be familiar with other standards, such as NR 05 (CIPA), NR 06 (EPIs), NR 10 (Safety in Electrical Installations), NR 12 (Safety in Machinery and Equipment), NR 18 (Construction Work Conditions and Environment), NR 20 (Safety in Work with Flammable and Combustible Materials) and NR 23 (Fire Protection).

Functions to be performed at SESI

The Occupational Safety Technician at SESI will play a crucial role in ensuring safety and health in the workplace.

Responsibilities include providing guidance to internal and external customers, preparing technical reports and documents related to the area.

O professional journey will also be responsible for carrying out safety inspections to identify risks, unhealthy conditions and the maintenance of fire-fighting equipment.

He is expected to control the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and compliance with technical standards, in addition to developing educational and preventive activities focused on health and safety at work.

In addition to these functions, the Occupational Safety Technician will have to prepare and provide training, participate in the preparation and execution of safety projects and plans, and lead continuous improvement processes in the work environment.

The role also includes participation in area planning and budgeting, inventory control and developing solutions to identified problems.
