Huawei surprises by launching the world's most luxurious electric car, promising to compete with brands like Rolls Royce and BMW, redefining the high-end car market.

A Maestro, a brand born from the collaboration between the giant Huawei and the manufacturer JAC, revealed today the Maextro S800, possibly the most luxurious electric car in the world, arrived to compete for space with the big names in the automotive market, such as Rolls Royce e BMW.

At 5,48 meters long and with a design that recalls the sophistication of Rolls Royce and BMW models, the S800 not only impresses with its size, but also with its level of luxury and innovation it offers.

The Maextro S800 is the brand's first model on the Chinese market and is now available to order.

With four large seats and an interior design that evokes luxury, the sedan aims to attract high-income consumers. The expectation is that, by the end of 2025, the Maestro also launch a super-luxury electric minivan, expanding its portfolio of premium vehicles.

Direct competitor of high-end models

The model rivals big names in the segment, such as the Rolls Royce Ghost II, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class and the BMW i7.

The Maextro S800, with its 3,37-meter wheelbase, promises an unparalleled driving experience and comfort. Details such as alloy wheels and the option of a starry roof, reminiscent of Rolls Royce models, reinforce the vehicle's exclusive proposition.

Although technical details about the mechanics have not yet been released, it is speculated that the Maextro S800 will have an engine of at least 500 hp and a range of over 700 km.

Another highlight is the independent driving system, which can reach level 3, equipped with Lidar radar to ensure safety and precision behind the wheel.

More details on the world's most luxurious electric car

  • Available in just two color schemes – a striking combination of purple and silver, and an all-black version. One of the highlights are the boldly designed wheels.
  • Despite its imposing size, the S800 avoids the traditional boxy appearance of other luxury cars. The rounded look is most evident at the front, where the vertical central grille, typical of electric vehicles, is located.
  • The lighting solutions impress with double LED bars and details reminiscent of a “Milky Way”, present in both the headlights and the taillights. Even the door handles follow this luminous concept, reinforcing the model’s unique identity.
  • In the field of technology, the S800 does not disappoint. The vehicle features L3 level autonomous driving, with a Lidar sensor strategically positioned on the roof. In addition, it promises to integrate three pillars of intelligence: intelligent driving, advanced cockpit and sophisticated domain control.

Price and availability in the Chinese market

The Maextro S800’s price will be a reflection of its luxury status. Richard Yu, head of Huawei’s intelligent vehicle division, announced that the sedan will be priced between 1 million and 1,5 million yuan, equivalent to (137.950 – 206.950 USD), respectively.

With the Maextro S800, Huawei strengthens its presence in the electric vehicle market and offers Chinese consumers a luxury alternative to models from major international brands.

The launch of the model marks an important step for Maextro, which promises to be a new major name in the automotive sector.

I'm dying to buy a Jac. Lack of sales, parts that take forever to arrive, lack of parts, lack of specialized workshops, lack of dealerships. A total disaster.

A customer's despair turns into a total disaster. The anxiety of having a car turns into an endless wait. What's left? Disappointment and frustration.
