The IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) is preparing a new round of selection processes. There will be around 9,5 temporary positions. To be approved, it is important to know the evaluation stages. They will be different from the last IBGE competition included in the “Enem of competitions”.

These new selection processes of IBGE tend to be simpler. The format differs from Unified National Competition (CNU). At CNU, there were specific tests by thematic blocks. Now, the selection should occur more quickly. The need to hire new temporary professionals is urgent for the IBGE.
The evaluation stages for these vacancies IBGE will have only one phase. Only one will be applied objective proof. This test will be both qualifying and eliminatory. The exam will be multiple choice. It will contain a total of 60 questions. Each question will have five possible answers, with only one correct answer. Candidates will have approximately 4 hours to complete the test. It will be administered in 530 municipalities.

IBGE: 9.580 temporary mid-level positions (APM and SCQ)
O IBGE will offer 9.580 opportunities in total for this selection process. All vacancies are for mid-level positions. The objective is to reinforce the agency's temporary staff. The vacancies will be distributed between two positions:
- 8.480 vacancies for Research and Mapping Agent (APM);
- 1.100 vacancies for Collection and Quality Supervisor (SCQ).
Expected salaries and definition of the organizing committee
The salaries for these temporary positions in IBGE vary. Based on the latest notices, the values range from R$2.676,24 to R$3.379,00. The IBGE has not yet chosen the organizing committee responsible for the selection process. Companies interested in conducting the selection have until May 5, 2025 to submit their proposals.
