In an audacious step to strengthen its ranks with new talents, the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) announced the opening of registrations for the 2nd Class of the Air Force Sergeants Training Course.

With entry scheduled for June 2025, the initiative offers 198 places for young people between 17 and 24 years old, with complete secondary education.

The opportunities are for School of Aeronautics Specialists (EEAR), located in Guaratinguetá, in the interior of São Paulo.

Registration, which must be completed by 15pm on July 24, 2024, can be made via the official website: www.ingresso.eear.fab.mil.br. The registration fee is R $ 95,00.

Who Can Register?

Men and women aged 17 to 24 and who have completed high school by December 1, 2024, can participate in the selection process. In total, 198 vacancies are available, distributed across several specialties:

  • Communications (BCO): 24 vacancies (19 open competition, 5 reserved)
  • Electricity and Instruments (BEI): 20 vacancies (16 open competition, 4 reserved)
  • Structure and Painting (BEP): 13 vacancies (10 open competition, 3 reserved)
  • Photointelligence (BFT): 5 vacancies (4 open competition, 1 reserved)
  • Aircraft Mechanics (BMA): 30 vacancies (24 open competition, 6 reserved)
  • Meteorology (BMT): 6 vacancies (5 open competition, 1 reserved)
  • Supply (BSP): 28 vacancies (22 open competition, 6 reserved)
  • Design (SDE): 3 vacancies (2 open competition, 1 reserved)
  • Electromechanics (SEM): 4 vacancies (3 open competition, 1 reserved)
  • Guard and Security (SGS): 15 vacancies (12 open competition, 3 reserved)
  • Air Traffic Control (BCT): 50 vacancies (40 open competition, 10 reserved)

Stages of the Selection Process

The selection process for the Training course sergeants of the Air Force is made up of several rigorous stages, including:

  • Written tests of Portuguese Language, English Language, Mathematics and Physics
  • health inspection
  • psychological aptitude test
  • Physical conditioning assessment test
  • Complementary hetero-identification procedure
  • Documentary validation

Qualification and Completion in Aeronautics

Candidates approved in all stages of the selection process must present themselves at EEAR in Guaratinguetá on June 29, 2025, to be eligible to enroll in the course.

The course lasts two years. Upon successful completion, students will be promoted to the rank of Third Sergeant.

They will be distributed and classified in one of the Military Organizations of the Air Force Command, according to the administration's needs.
