There are 100 vacancies for qualification in areas such as crafts, gastronomy, music and tourism. Applications are open until November 24th.
The City of Cubatão, in partnership with Sebrae-SP, announced the opening of registrations for free courses in the entrepreneur acceleration program “Criando Conexões”.
With 100 places available, the training courses are aimed at micro-entrepreneurs who wish to improve their skills and strengthen their businesses in the areas of crafts, gastronomy, music and tourist guides and monitors.
The courses will be held in person at Parque Anilinas, starting on January 13, and offer a certificate of completion for participants who achieve at least 75% attendance. Registration is now open and can be done until November 24th.

Sebrae offers courses to strengthen local businesses
The “Creating Connections” program is an initiative of the Municipal Department of Tourism of Cubatão in partnership with Sebrae-SP, with the objective of qualifying micro and small entrepreneurs in the region.
According to Sidinei de Fontes, Secretary of Tourism of Cubatão, the focus is to prepare local entrepreneurs to serve tourists and residents with excellence, generating more opportunities and strengthening the local economy.
The courses were structured to meet specific demands of the tourism and creative economy sectors, with a focus on management strategies and improving competitiveness.
According to Michele Divino, business consultant at Sebrae-SP, the proposal is to optimize the operational efficiency of businesses and help Cubatão stand out as a tourist destination.

The free courses offered by Sebrae-SP are divided into four main areas:
- Craftsmanship: Production and management techniques for creative entrepreneurs.
- Food: Culinary practices and management of gastronomic businesses.
- Music: Talent development and musical event management.
- Guides and Monitors: Training in inbound tourism and visitor service.
Each class will have 25 places, totaling 100 opportunities for entrepreneurs locations.
How the selection process works
To participate, interested parties must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Reside in Cubatão.
- Have an active CNPJ registered in the municipality with CNAE related to the areas of the courses.
Applications must be submitted using an online form available on the Cubatão City Hall website by November 24. After the application period, the list of successful candidates will be released on November 27.
The courses will begin on January 13th and will be taught in person at Parque Anilinas. Participants will receive a certificate of completion as long as they meet the 75% attendance requirement.
