Inmetro's public competition notice has been published, check the vacancies, dates and salaries. The Inmetro competition is one of the most awaited and has 860 immediate vacancies and CR.
This Tuesday (05), the Inmetro public tender notice came out. The notice was published in Official Gazette and is also now available on the organizing committee's website, the idecan. The deadline for registration remains open until January 8th. The competition offers vacancies for analysts and researchers.

In total, the Inmetro offers 860 vacancies, 100 of which are for immediate hiring and 760 for reserve registration formation in positions such as Executive Analyst in Metrology and Quality and Researcher – Technologist in Metrology and Quality.
Those interested in competing in the public competition must demonstrate completed higher education in any area of training. please note that 5% of the vacancies will be aimed at people with disabilities and another 20% will be reserved for black candidates.

There will be 60 vacancies plus 370 reserve registrations for Executive Analyst in Metrology and Quality and 40 vacancies plus 390 reserve registration for Research Technologist in Metrology and Quality. The starting salary for those approved in the public examination is R$8.700,31. Those approved are also entitled to food assistance worth R$658.
Interested parties must be native or naturalized Brazilians, be in regular status in the country, if foreign, be at least 18 years old on the date of investiture, be in full enjoyment of political rights, be in compliance with electoral obligations and, if male candidate, also with the military, be duly registered with the Regional Class Council, when applicable, as well as be in compliance with the legal obligations of the supervisory body and other qualification requirements to exercise the position, have the requirements required to the position, and must be in good standing with the supervisory body.

Os interested in applying for one of the vacancies must access the website of the organizing committee, Idecan, by January 8, 2024. The registration fee is R$125. Candidates who donate bone marrow or are registered with CadÚnico are entitled to an exemption from the fee.
Those who register for the Inmetro competition will be evaluated with objective multiple-choice tests, a discursive test, a test of qualifications and professional experience of a classificatory nature, a biopsychosocial assessment applied to candidates registered as people with disabilities and who chose to compete for the vacancies reserved for people with disabilities, when registering for the competition.
The objective tests of the public competition will be held on April 16, 2024, in the cities of Goiânia (GO), Brasília (DF), Porto Alegre (RS), Fortaleza (CE), Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and Salvador (BA ). Candidates will be assessed through 70 multiple-choice questions on the following subjects:
- Knowledge about Inmetro: 20 questions;
- Foreign Language: 05 questions;
- Logical Reasoning: 05 questions;
- Portuguese Language: 30 questions;
- Specific knowledge of the position: 20 questions.
The discursive test will consist of an essay composed of topics related to the syllabus contained in the notice.
