Kidde Global Solutions, a leader in security solutions, plans 15% sales growth with expansion in Brazil and Latin America in 2025.
Created in December 2024, Kidde Global Solutions (KGS) – a world leader in fire safety and life safety solutions – expects to grow 15% in sales in 2025, with the expansion of new markets in Brazil and Latin America. Headquartered in palm beach gardens, a KGS brings together iconic fire safety brands such as Kidde®, Kidde Commercial™, Edwards®, GST™, Badger™, Gloria® and Aritech™. Globally, the conglomerate – with more than two centuries of history – has had revenues of US $ 2 billion in the last year. In Brazil, KGS is headquartered in Vila Olimpia, São Paulo.
Acquisition
In December 2024, Lone Star Funds acquired the commercial and residential fire business of Carrier Global Corporation by US $ 3 billion. "Our strategy is to increase investments in the fire systems services and integration segment, in addition to strengthening long-term contracts with multinationals and developing highly complex projects in all sectors of the economy, such as Oil & Gas, mining, civil construction, petrochemicals, chemicals, data centers, food industries, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, among others”, highlights Marcelo Zeppelini, general director of KGS in Latin America.
The company has adopted a new strategy to improve its logistics efficiency, investing in a local inventory of GST™ brand detection and alarm equipment, located in Extrema (MG). This same unit manufactures CO2, water and dry chemical fire extinguishers, available in portable, wheeled and automotive versions, for classes A, B and C, as well as special extinguishers for Class K. The plant also produces Kidde brand fluorine-free hoses and foams, further expanding its range of solutions.

With the arrival of the GST™ brand in Brazil – a supplier of a wide range of fire products and customized fire system solutions – KGS seeks to meet the demands of low-complexity commercial applications, offering smaller, easy-to-install systems at competitive prices. According to Zeppelini, this expansion positions the company in a broader market that values simple, affordable solutions, in addition to making its products available for immediate delivery to the domestic market.
Growth and investments in the Latin American market
Over the next five years, KGS intends to invest in new hires, product innovation and logistics capacity to expand its market presence, while maintaining its focus on accelerated double-digit growth.
