IFMS offers free Spanish, English and Libras courses, at basic and intermediate levels, for all ages!
The deadline to register for the selection of free courses of languages of the Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul (IFMS) ends in January 15,. are offered 450 vacancies for the languages Spanish, English e Pounds, at basic and intermediate levels.

To participate, you must have completed the elementary school I (5th year). Vacancies are available to IFMS students and employees, as well as the general public.
Placement test
Candidates registered for courses from basic level II in classes already in progress will need to complete a placement test.
This test, which will be carried out online, aims to assess the candidate's level of proficiency and knowledge, thus determining the class in which he/she will be able to compete for a place.
The test dates and times will be announced at the Selection Center by January 17,.
If a candidate does not obtain a result compatible with the course and level offers, he/she may still participate in the electronic draw for the class corresponding to the level I, if there are vacancies available on the campus and in the chosen course.
Selection and important dates
The selection of candidates will be carried out by electronic draw, scheduled to February 7, broadcast live on Youtube channel.
The final classification and call for enrollment are expected to be released by February 14. Classes are scheduled to begin in March 10.
Objective of IFMS courses
A Initial and Continuing Education (FIC) offered by Language Center (Cenid) of the Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul, aims to provide training in Spanish, English e Pounds both for external and internal communities, promoting the internationalization of the institution.
The courses are structured in two stages, each with three semesters, and at the end of each stage, the student will receive a certificate with national validity, proving their level of linguistic competence.
The courses will be held in person on the campuses of aquidauana, Campo Grande, Cushion, Navirai, Ponta Pora e three ponds. For more information or questions about the selection process, please contact us by email cofic@ifms.edu.br.
