Calls Open in September 2024
In September 2024, six professional master's degree programs are open for applications. These programs are offered at renowned higher education institutions throughout the country and are specifically aimed at teachers. The available options are:
- PROFHISTORIA - Professional Master's Degree in History
- PROFLETRAS - Professional Master's Degree in Literature
- MPNEF - Professional Master's Degree in Physics Teaching
- PROFMAT - Professional Master's Degree in Mathematics
- PROFQUI - Professional Master's Degree in Chemistry

1. PROFESSORSHIP: Master's Degree in History
PROFHISTORIA is aimed at History teachers and offers 605 vacancies in more than 30 universities throughout Brazil. Applications are open until November 13, 2024, and vacancies are distributed across all regions, with emphasis on the Southeast, which offers 252 vacancies. Applications cost R$130 and will be selected through an objective and discursive test.
2. PROFLETRAS: Master's Degree in Literature
PROFLETRAS offers more than 700 vacancies in 41 higher education institutions. The selection process will take place between August 22 and September 22, 2024, with an application fee of R$160. The selection process includes an objective and discursive test, and the vacancies are distributed across the five regions of the country.
3. PROFMAT: Master in Mathematics
PROFMAT, one of the largest master's programs in Brazil, has 1.600 vacancies in 81 institutions. Applications will be accepted from August 8 to September 30, 2024, with a fee of R$82. The selection process includes the National Access Exam.
4. MPNEF: Master in Physics Teaching
The MPNEF offers 728 vacancies in 67 institutions. Applications will be accepted from August 25 to September 24, 2024, with a fee of R$70. The selection process includes written tests and the defense of a memorial, differentiating candidates based on their teaching experience.
5. PROFQUI: Master in Chemistry
PROFQUI offers 273 vacancies in 30 institutions. Applications must be submitted by September 27, 2024, with a fee of R$70. The selection process is divided into a multiple-choice test and the preparation of a letter of intent.
6. PROF-FILO: Master's Degree in Philosophy
PROF-FILO offers 308 vacancies in 25 institutions. Applications are open until October 21, 2024, with a fee of R$80. The selection includes evaluation and discussion of the research project.
