Bionergia multinational confirms 36 jobs in Manaus and other AM cities for the construction of three ethanol production plants
With an investment of at least R$ 4,4 billion and the generation of 36 thousand jobs in Manaus, Rio Preto da Eva and Itacoatiara, the company Millenium Bionergia aims to build three ethanol production plants that will make up the largest production chain of biofuels in northern region, along with the Bonfim plant, in Roraima. The information is from Acácio Rozendo, commercial director of the company Millennium Bionergy, and was presented last Saturday (07), during the laying of the foundation stone that marked the beginning of the works of Usina do Bonfim, in the municipality of Roraima.

According to Rozendo, the construction process of the plants in the state of Amazonas should start in the coming months, and is now depending only on an earthworks project that is already in its final stages.

The plants are expected to start operating at the end of 2021. The projects will be built in the cities of Rio Preto da Eva, Itacoatiara and Manaus and will be supplied by local producers.
According to Deputy Josué Neto, economist and president of the Legislative Assembly of Amazonas (Alem), the production of ethanol with the incentives of the Manaus Free Trade Zone will make the biofuel produced in the northern region more attractive to the consumer market.
