This Friday (21) the notice for the new RS Military Brigade competition for the position of soldier was published. The mid-level competition aims to fill 1.200 vacancies and the salary is R$5.944,85. The public competition seeks candidates with completed secondary education, age up to 25 years, minimum height of 1,60 m for women or 1,65 m for men and National Driver's License (CNH) category B or higher.
For a mid-level competition, it is also necessary to have Brazilian nationality, not having been dismissed from public service, being up to date with electoral obligations, not having been convicted in a final criminal proceeding, with the published sentence having been served, being up to date with military obligations, upon proof, through an official document informing having provided or having been definitively released from Initial Military Service.

It is worth mentioning that the duties of the position of State Military Officer in the First Class Soldier Rank – Intermediate Level Career, among others provided for by Law, include carrying out ostensive police activities and preserving public order.
Regarding quotas, the mid-level competition provides for the reservation of 192 positions for black people, 12 for indigenous people and 12 for trans people. The remaining 984 positions in dispute are aimed at the general competition.
Register for the RS Military Brigade competition
Registration for the public competition remains open until April 22, closing at 17 pm. Registration must be completed by Fundatec website, the organizing body for the intermediate level competition.
The registration fee is R$118,79. Before registering, candidates must read the notice and ensure that they meet all the requirements. When registering, candidates must upload an updated digital photo of their face, which must show their face uncovered and their shoulders.
Scheduled for June 8, the objective test will require students to answer 50 multiple-choice questions in a maximum of three and a half hours. The questions will cover content on the Portuguese language, mathematics, IT, general knowledge, legislation, human rights and citizenship.
In addition to Porto Alegre, the exam will be held in Cachoeirinha, Novo Hamburgo, Canoas and São Leopoldo. In the other stages of the RS Military Police competition, with no dates yet set, candidates will undergo health and physical fitness exams, psychological evaluation and social investigation. The organization of the competition is under the responsibility of the University Company Foundation for Technology and Sciences (Fundatec). Physical fitness exam
In the intermediate level competition, for the pull-up exercise, the candidate must perform 5 repetitions, with the candidate being allowed to bend their knees to avoid touching the ground. They are not allowed to touch the ground or any part of the bar support after starting the exercise, wear gloves, rest their chin on the bar, among others.
For the Abdominal Rower, in one minute, the candidate must perform 40 push-ups and the candidates must perform 32 push-ups. Finally, the running exercise, in time of 12 minutes, a distance of 2.500 meters must be covered for male candidates and 2.100 meters for female candidates.
