Training to strengthen tourism

Tourism Minister Celso Sabino highlighted the benefits of training. According to him, in addition to improving professionals' resumes, service to tourists also improves.

"In addition to improving professionals' resumes, qualifications help ensure that more and more tourists are well served in Brazilian destinations, returning and recommending the places they visited. This results in a high level of movement in local economies, favoring the generation of jobs and income for the population.”, stated the minister.

He also invited workers in the area to take advantage of the chance to update themselves and seek new opportunities in the market.

Rules and registrations

To participate, candidates must have completed at least elementary school. However, some courses require specific prerequisites, which should be checked at the time of registration.

Each person can enroll in only one course. Selection will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of available places, the remaining applicants will be placed on a waiting list.

Anyone who is selected but does not appear to enroll will be automatically eliminated from the process. Enrollments will only be made in person, at the locations indicated on the registration form.

Practical and language-focused courses

In addition to technical subjects, the courses also offer language classes. English and Spanish, at basic and instrumental levels, are part of the content. The focus is on reading and interpreting texts, essential skills for serving tourists.

The training areas cater to different profiles in the sector, from bars and restaurants to governance in accommodation facilities.

Schedule set

Registration will be open from March 17 to 27, until 18 pm. Registration for those who registered until March 23 will take place between the 25th and 31st of the same month. Those who registered between March 23 and 27 will be able to register from April 1 to 17.
