Mitsubishi's new SUV is coming soon to the Brazilian market. Meet the new Mitsubishi X-Force 2025 compact SUV, the model promises new engines, futuristic design and technologies technology

Mitsubishi surprises once again with the launch of the new compact SUV X-Force 2025, its latest compact SUV, designed to compete directly with heavyweight models such as the recently renewed Hyundai Creta and the new Yaris Cross. With a bold design, advanced technologies and a focus on comfort and versatility, the X-Force hits the market as an ambitious bet to win over consumers looking for style, performance and connectivity. Equipped with efficient engines and state-of-the-art safety features, the model promises to meet the demands of the modern public and reinforce Mitsubishi's presence in a highly competitive segment. In this article, we explore all the details that make the Mitsubishi X-Force 2025 a true force in the automotive market.

Mitsubishi X-Force 2025 is being produced in partnership with Renault and Nissan

Positioned as an entry-level crossover, the new compact SUV seeks to redefine the standard of excellence in its category, a bold move for a brand that has historically not had many affordable models in many markets. The Mitsubishi X-Force 2025 is the result of the strategic alliance between Mitsubishi, Renault and Nissan.

Built on the same platform that powers other compact cars in the group, such as the new generation of the Nissan Kicks, Mitsubishi's new SUV shares innovations that will be highlighted in Brazil later this year. In addition, the new compact SUV enters the competition with heavyweight rivals such as the Toyota Yaris Cross, which has already confirmed its presence in the Brazilian market.

Despite its proposal as an entry-level vehicle, the Mitsubishi X-Force 2025 surprises with its robust size. Its dimensions are impressive, measuring 4,39 m in length, consolidating it as the largest in its category, even surpassing the Renault Duster, which led in this regard.

The 2,64 m wheelbase provides a spacious interior, while the 1,81 m width and 1,66 m height give it a striking presence. Weighing just 1235 kg and with a trunk that can comfortably accommodate up to 400 L, it guarantees good versatility for a Mitsubishi SUV, with an entry-level proposal.

Mitsubishi's new SUV delivers up to 103 horsepower

In terms of design, Mitsubishi's new SUV reflects a modern and sophisticated visual language, in line with Mitsubishi's recent trends. At the front, the highlight is the full LED optical set, which includes fog lights, while the grille features chrome details complemented by an imposing-looking bumper.

The sides of Mitsubishi's new SUV draw attention with 18-inch wheels and a floating roof, the result of the black-painted A-pillar, adding elegance to the new Mitsubishi X-Force 2025 compact SUV. At the rear, the design is not far behind and the sporty bumper, an integrated spoiler and full LED taillights complete a harmonious and attractive look.

As an entry-level model aimed at a variety of markets, the 2025 Mitsubishi X-Force offers a wide range of engine options. Although, for now, only two have been revealed for the most basic versions.

The available engine is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine that delivers 103 horsepower and 14,4 kgfm of torque powered only by gasoline. This set can be combined with a five-speed manual transmission or a CVT type automatic transmission, which simulates seven gears, providing greater versatility and efficiency to the new compact SUV.

The interior of the new compact SUV is impressive

The second engine option for the 2025 Mitsubishi X-Force is considerably more sophisticated and is already part of the TCE engine family. It is a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with direct fuel injection.

This set generates up to 110 horsepower and 17 kgfm of torque, offering improved performance. The engine can be combined with a seven-speed dual-clutch automated transmission or a six-speed manual transmission.

The interior of Mitsubishi's new SUV is a real highlight, reflecting meticulous attention to detail and an above-average proposition for the category.

The finish of the Mitsubishi X-Force 2025 SUV combines high-quality materials, with soft-touch textures and fabric details on the panels and doors, conveying a sense of sophistication. The interior space is another strong point, allowing five adults to travel comfortably thanks to the generous wheelbase.

I'm a fan of the brand, of the Japanese that we have in Brazil, I like Mitsubishi because of the brand's robust cars.

I confess that there are some models that I don't find attractive, they look like tanks.

But Mitsubishi really put a lot of effort into the design of this X Force, it looks really nice. I'm not going to say that I'm going to buy it, because it's far, light years, from my financial means to have a car of this size.

I congratulate Mitsubishi for this incredible launch, and for those who can afford it, congratulations!!

I'm very happy with the 4 Pajero TR2009, I wouldn't trade it for any other car in the world!!

I'm a Mitsubishi fan!!!!

I'm waiting for the Yaris Cross, but I'll take a look at this X-Force, from the characteristics described it seems like a great SUV.

I'll only believe it when I see it for sale. This car has been confirmed and canceled several times. I hope it really comes to the Brazilian market. I think the design is very nice, but if it comes with this 1.5 naturally aspirated engine, it will be too lame for the size and weight of the car. The ideal would be for it to come with this engine in the entry-level version and have a more complete version with a turbo engine, either from the Eclipse Cross itself or borrowed from Renault/Nissan, and also a 4×4 system, which is the brand's specialty and DNA. If it doesn't have this option, it will be a mistake. If it has this complete version with a strategically placed price, it would have everything to sell as much as the Creta and T-Cross. I would even choose it instead of the two mentioned without a doubt.
