Multinational opens 2023 internship vacancies in São Paulo, Anhanguera, Jundiaí, Belo Horizonte and Curitiba, check selection process requirements

The German multinational, Siemens, announced that it intends to allocate at least 50% of all internship vacancies to women. In all, there are 75 opportunities in São Paulo, Anhanguera, Jundiaí, Belo Horizonte and Curitiba. 

Entries for the internship vacancies must take place by this Friday, 18 November, covering both men and women. A multinational innovation leader, Siemens,  claims to be interested in having at least 30% of all its leadership positions held by women by the year 2025. Therefore, it has been developing strategies to allow this equity, such as exclusive vacancies for this group. The number of vacancies varies according to each city, being São Paulo – Anhanguera (37), Jundiaí (28), Belo Horizonte (8) and Curitiba (2).

According to the company, the interns will start their activities in January 2023, while the selective process takes place in 2022, with interviews. Students from all areas of engineering, as well as accounting sciences, law, economics, finance, logistics, marketing, psychology and secretariat can participate.

As stated by Adriana Lima, Head of Recruitment and Selection at Siemens, the objective of the private institution, which arrived in Brazil during the 80s, is to introduce new talent to the market. For this, they seek gender equity within the company, which still has most leadership positions occupied by men. The company's vision is to make the space more inclusive for women. 

One of the requirements to participate is that students expect to graduate between 2023 and 2024. Availability for internship vacancies with a demand of six hours a day in person at the company, or through a hybrid model, is also required. Last but not least, the institution requests that university students have intermediate level English for speaking and reading.
