The German multinational, Siemens, announced that it intends to allocate at least 50% of all internship vacancies to women. In all, there are 75 opportunities in São Paulo, Anhanguera, Jundiaí, Belo Horizonte and Curitiba.
Entries for the internship vacancies must take place by this Friday, 18 November, covering both men and women. A multinational innovation leader, Siemens, claims to be interested in having at least 30% of all its leadership positions held by women by the year 2025. Therefore, it has been developing strategies to allow this equity, such as exclusive vacancies for this group. The number of vacancies varies according to each city, being São Paulo – Anhanguera (37), Jundiaí (28), Belo Horizonte (8) and Curitiba (2).
