A new public competition for Municipal Civil Guard offers dozens of vacancies for secondary level in 2025. Find out what is necessary to compete for the opportunities and receive salaries that can reach R$ 3 thousand.
A new Municipal Civil Guard competition opened registrations this Tuesday (18). In total, 30 immediate vacancies are offered for secondary level and 90 for reserve registration in the Municipality of Coelho Neto, in Maranhão. The new competition with vacancies for secondary education is aimed at the City Hall of Coelho Neto, in the state of Maranhão, and aims to hire, through a public competition, 30 new civil guards, both sexes, to reinforce public security in the city. Of this total number of vacancies, 19 are for general competition and 2 are for people with disabilities, 3 for female candidates and another 6 for black people.
Those interested in competing in the Municipal Civil Guard competition must have completed secondary education, a national driver's license and be at least 21 years old.

It is worth mentioning that the notice does not stipulate a maximum age for participants. The starting salary for vacancies for secondary level is R$1.800 for a 40-hour workweek.
Those interested in the Municipal Civil Guard competition must also be Brazilian-born or naturalized, be 18 years of age or older at the time of appointment and have a minimum height of 1,55 meters for women and 1,62 m for men, be up to date with military service obligations for men, have their situation regularized before the Electoral Court, be in full enjoyment of their political and civil rights, have physical and mental fitness and not be a person with a disability incompatible with the exercise of the position, upon confirmation of an admission medical examination.
Main duties of vacancies for intermediate level
Those approved in the Municipal Civil Guard competition will be responsible for carrying out permanent preventive patrolling in the Municipality's territory to protect the population, acting together with the community with the aim of reducing violence and crime, promoting conflict mediation and respect for the fundamental rights of citizens.
It also prevents and inhibits criminal acts that harm municipal assets, services and facilities, giving priority to school safety. It supports and guarantees the Municipality's inspection actions in the application of legislation related to the exercise of administrative police power, ensuring the preservation of security and public order at events held in the city, in addition to participating in operations and services under the responsibility of the Municipality when requested.
Their duties also include reporting incidents that occur during their working day to their superiors, operating video monitoring systems, monitoring and surveillance on public roads, among other activities.

Registration for vacancies at secondary level will begin on March 18th and continue until April 9th, through the Consulpam website, the organizing committee for the selection process. The registration fee is R$80. The Municipal Civil Guard competition consists of an objective test, physical aptitude test, psychological evaluation, social research, anthropometric and medical evaluation, and a training course.
The objective test will consist of 40 multiple choice questions, with four alternatives each (A to D). The questions include Portuguese, Mathematics, Specific Knowledge of Traffic Legislation, Citizenship and Notions of Constitutional and Criminal Law.
The physical fitness test aims to assess the candidate's ability to perform efforts and resistance to physical fatigue, with the aim of selecting those who present the necessary conditions to perform the role.
