The Brazilian Navy and the Brazilian Air Force have announced public selection processes with more than 2.500 vacancies for 2025. The opportunities include training courses for sergeants, marines and apprentice sailors. Recently, the Brazilian Navy and the Brazilian Air Force announced the opening of public competitions, offering a total of more than 2.500 vacancies in various areas.

Brazilian Air Force: Sergeant training course

The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) is accepting applications for the Sergeant Training Course.

Interested parties have until Friday, February 14, to register, upon payment of a fee of R$95. The course is scheduled to start in January 2026.

To participate, candidates must be between 17 and 24 years old by December 31 of the year of enrollment and have completed high school by the final selection concentration date.

During the training period, the remuneration is R$1.517,00, increasing to R$5.978,00 after completion of the course. In total, 194 vacancies are offered.

Brazilian Navy: School for Apprentice Sailors

The Brazilian Navy is also accepting applications for the School of Apprentice Sailors. Interested parties must register by Thursday, February 13, with a registration fee of R$50.

Salaries range from R$1.303,90 during training to R$2.294,50 upon completion. There are 800 vacancies available for this selection process.

Marine Corps Training Course

In addition, the Navy offers the Marine Corps Training Course, with registration open until March 7 and a fee of R$40.

There are 1.680 vacancies available, with remuneration of R$1.303,90 during the course and R$2.294,50 after graduation.

Requirements for participation include being a Brazilian citizen, being between 18 and 22 years old on June 30, 2026, having a CPF and photo ID, and not being married or having children or dependents.

Selection process for temporary officers

In December 2024, the Brazilian Navy, through the 7th Naval District Command, announced a selection process for the hiring of 29 temporary officers to work in the states of Tocantins, Goiás and the Federal District.

Opportunities cover areas such as Health, Health Support, Technique, Technique-Teaching and Engineering.

Registration took place from December 17, 2024 to January 6, 2025, with a fee of R$140,00. The incorporation of approved candidates is scheduled for June 2025.

Competitions scheduled for 2025

According to the Navy News Agency, several competitions are planned for 2025, including opportunities for Temporary Officers, Marine Soldiers and Apprentice Sailor Schools.
