Sooro Renner invests millions in a new factory in Paraná, expanding lactose production and creating thousands of jobs.
Sooro Renner, a company specializing in the production of proteins derived from whey, announced the construction of a new industrial complex in Francisco Beltrão, Paraná. The investment will be R$680 million and aims to expand the production of lactose, whey protein and butter. new factory will generate 350 direct jobs and 1.650 indirect jobs, contributing to the growth of the dairy sector in the state.
Billion-dollar investment in new factory strengthens national lactose production
The new factory will have the capacity to produce 40 million tons of Lactose Infant Formula per year, a product used in infant nutrition.
In addition, the industrial plant will produce 12 thousand tons of Whey Protein, serving the sports nutrition market, and 6 thousand tons of butter.

With this expansion, the company intends to reduce Brazil's dependence on imported lactose and strengthen its presence in the food sector.
The unit will follow strict quality standards, becoming one of the most modern in Latin America.
The expansion will also allow for greater logistical efficiency and expansion of Sooro Renner's operations in the international market.
Paraná stands out in attracting new investments
The choice of Francisco Beltrão for the new factory was strategic, as the city is located between the company's other units and the next suppliers of raw materials.
The investment also accompanies improvements in the region's infrastructure, including the duplication of highways that facilitate the transportation of products.
“Paraná offers detailed conditions for the dairy sector, both through local milk production and logistical incentives. The new unit reinforces our commitment to expanding and modernizing the national dairy industry,” stated the CEO of Sooro Renner Nutrição, Eduardo Serra Ferreira.
The new industrial complex is part of a larger plan by the company, which has already invested R$120 million in the Marechal Cândido Rondon unit in 2021.
With the new factory, the company's transportation in Paraná should exceed R$1 billion by 2027.
Dairy industry expansion creates jobs at new factory
The construction of the new factory is part of a broader movement of growth in the dairy sector in Paraná.
In addition to Sooro Renner, other companies are also investing in the region. The Piracanjuba Group, for example, secured financing of R$499 million for the construction of two factories in the southwest of the state.
For the government of Paraná, the arrival of new investments and the creation of jobs strengthen the economy and stimulate family farming.
