The Socialism and Liberty Party (PSOL) has filed a formal request with Anatel. The party is contesting the decision that authorized the expansion of Elon Musk's Starlink satellite constellation in Brazil.

According to PSOL, the measure threatens sovereignty Brazilian. It also puts data security and competition in the telecommunications sector at risk. Starlink recently received authorization to expand its operations.

Anatel's decision contested by PSOL allowed a significant expansion of the company's operations. Elon Musk company in the country. The number of low-orbit satellites authorized to operate in Brazilian airspace has increased considerably.

In an official statement, the PSOL harshly criticized the way in which the decision was made by Anatel. The party claims that the authorization for the Starlink was granted without due technical rigor and legally necessary. For the PSOL, this approval disrespects fundamental principles provided for in the Federal Constitution. The party therefore questions the validity of the analysis carried out by the regulatory agency.
