With the support of the Sanitation and Energy Regulatory Agency of the State of São Paulo (ARSESP), the Research and Development Program seeks to attract innovative proposals that drive efficiency and safety in gas distribution. Start of the 2025-2026 Cycle
For the 2025-2026 cycle of Research Program and Development, established in the context of the Research Program, Technological Development e Innovation of Natural Gas Use (R&D&I), the company allocated approximately R$800 thousand. This amount is expected to boost initiatives aimed at innovation and technological development, especially in the piped gas sector. The value estimated for each proposal presented fluctuates between R$ 350 thousand and R$ 400 thousand. Those interested in contributing with their projects must send their proposals until October 31th.

Selection Process Details
Preliminary proposals should be sent by email, and possible adjustments to the selected projects will be discussed directly with the proponents. The R&D&I Program, established by ARSESP, has the mission not only to promote technological development, but also to encourage innovation within the piped gas sector. This translates into significant improvements in efficiency and safety in both distribution as in the use of natural gas.
Choosing the Finalist Projects
Naturgy, leading this initiative, will select four projects to present to ARSESP, which will make the final selection of the initiatives that will receive support. There will be no pre-established link between Naturgy and the chosen projects. The decision on the projects that will be supported must be made by January 20, 2025.
