A Petrobras announced on September 23, 2025 the opening of more than 700 vacancies protocols for Young Apprentice Program.
The opportunities are distributed in 13 states and the Federal District.
As registrations occur between 6 and 12 October 2025, according to information from the Petrobras Agency and Exame.

The journey is 4 hours daily, from Monday to Friday.
This totals 20 hours a week.
Those selected will receive full minimum wage of R$1.518, in addition to transportation vouchers, 13th salary, vacations and FGTS.
They may also optionally join the supplementary pension plan and the physical activity program.

Requirements to apply

To participate, the candidate must be between 14 and 21 years and 7 months old at the time of registration. Furthermore, it is important to remember that people with disabilities (PWD) are exempt from the maximum age limit, which expands opportunities for inclusion.

Meanwhile, those who are still studying need to prove enrollment and school attendance, as this requirement ensures a balance between learning and studying. The chosen learning course cannot coincide with school hours, avoiding scheduling conflicts and prioritizing educational performance.

Furthermore, it is not permitted to be enrolled in or have completed the same Petrobras apprenticeship program in the last six months, as this ensures turnover and the opportunity for new participants.

Selection process stages and schedule

The selection process follows a schedule defined in the notice, so each stage takes place within the established deadlines. After the registration period, candidates will be classified according to the criteria provided, ensuring transparency in the process. Immediately after, there will be an appeals period, so that registrants can contest results, and finally, final selection will consolidate those approved.
