Petrobras president guarantees that reductions will be made when viable, but rules out sudden changes in the energy scenario.
A Petrobras president Magda Chambriard stated that the company will lower fuel prices “whenever possible”, generating great expectations in the market and among consumers. During a press conference last week, Chambriard announced the drop in jet fuel prices and assured that diesel and gasoline have also shown significant reductions since the end of last year. According to her, both fuels have accumulated a drop of around 30% compared to December 2022 prices.

New well in the Roncador field, in the Campos Basin
In addition to addressing fuel prices, The president of Petrobras highlighted plans to increase the supply of natural gas. Um new well in the Roncador field, in the Campos Basin, should come into operation next year, with an estimated production of 1,7 million cubic meters of gas per day.
