The IBGE has a new public tender open. The institution's mid-level contest offers more than 7.500 vacancies throughout Brazil.
On Tuesday (4), the first two notices of the new IBGE 2023 contest were published. Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics has opportunities to fill 7.548 temporary vacancies. This will be a mid-level competition for candidates from all over Brazil.

As temporary vacancies in the mid-level contest they are for the position of research and mapping agent, which has 6.742 vacancies, and for collection and quality supervisor (806). Those interested in running for any of the positions will need to have completed high school.

According to the announcement of the public tender for agent, those approved will be hired for a period of one year, which may be extended for up to three, receiving initial salaries of R$ 1.387,50. The supervisor will also have a one-year contract, which can be extended for up to three years, however, with an initial salary of R$ 3.100. In both positions, those approved in the IBGE competition will receive food allowance, pre-school allowance, transportation allowance, as well as the right to 13th salary and proportional vacations. To the opportunities for agents and supervisors, they are spread across cities across the country, in addition to the Federal District.
Registration for the mid-level public tender can be carried out until July 19
Entries for the IBGE contest with temporary vacancies were opened this Tuesday, through the IBFC website. Those who are interested in participating have until July 23th at 19:XNUMX pm to register.
The fee will be BRL 42,20, however, those enrolled in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government and low-income family members or bone marrow donors can request exemption from the fee during the registration period.
As already advanced by the institution, the selection processes will be aimed at people who have not been hired, in the last two years, in other selection processes governed by Law nº 8.745/1993. Candidates who have had a contract with the IBGE must wait two years to be hired again, according to the laws in force.
IBGE exams are scheduled for September
Candidates for the IBGE contest will be evaluated through objective tests, to be applied in all municipalities that have vacancies, in both notices.
The exams are expected to be held on September 17, in the morning and afternoon shifts, which will allow candidates to run for both positions with temporary vacancies. In both cases, the objective tests will consist of 60 questions, namely:
supervisor
- Geography (14);
- Notions of Administration and Managerial Situations (14);
- Portuguese language (14);
- Computer Basics (five);
- Ethics in the Public Service (five);
- Mathematics and Logical Reasoning (eight).
Agent
- Portuguese language (20);
- Geography (20);
- Mathematics and Logical Reasoning (15);
- Ethics in the Public Service (five).
In order to pass, it will be necessary to obtain 18 points in the total of the test and, at least, one in each discipline. After completing all stages, the contest will end on October 23, initially valid for one year.
