The Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP) has just extended the registration for the selection process of technical courses 2025/1, offering 10.000 vacancies in various areas. Who can apply for the IFSP selection process?
Students who have completed elementary school or are currently studying high school, depending on the chosen modality, may participate in the selection process. For courses Integrated into High School, the candidate must have completed elementary school. The courses Concomitants require the student to be enrolled in the second or third year of high school at another institution. Finally, the courses Subsequent are aimed at those who have already completed high school.
Additionally, candidates seeking reserved places for affirmative action must be aware of the specific requirements of each modality, which include quotas for public schools, disabled people, and other criteria established by current legislation.
How does the selection process work?
The selection process of IFSP will be carried out through an objective test, consisting of 30 questions multiple choice. The test will cover content from Portuguese language e Mathematics, based on subjects from the 6th to 9th grade of elementary school. The tests will be applied on the day October 20th, 2024, and candidates must arrive at the test location at least one hour in advance.
If the number of applicants is less than or equal to the number of places available for a given course, candidates will be automatically approved, without having to take the test. This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to secure a place in a simpler way.
How do I register for IF technical courses?
Registration for the selection process IFSP 2025 must be done exclusively online, on the official IFSP portal (https://processoseletivo.ifsp.edu.br). The deadline to register is on September 15th, 2024, and the candidate must follow the steps of registering in the system, filling out the registration form and, if necessary, paying the registration fee.
For those who are called, registration will take place between the days January 08th and 13th, 2025, also online. In the case of remaining vacancies, new calls may be made from January 14. Therefore, it is important that candidates pay attention to updates on the IFSP website.
