Renault do Brasil announced an investment of R$2 billion in the Ayrton Senna Complex for the production of a new C-SUV. Part of Renault's plan until 2027, the project reinforces the company's presence in Paraná, boosting the economy and creating jobs in the region.
In a ceremony held at the Ayrton Senna Complex last Monday, (04/12), Renault do Brasil revealed an additional investment of R$2 billion for the production of a new vehicle at the Ayrton Senna Complex, located in São José dos Pinhais, Paraná. The initiative is part of Renault's International Game Plan 2027, which aims to launch eight new models, including three C-segment SUVs, between 2024 and 2027, for international markets. Such investment will be responsible for boosting the economy and opening new jobs.

The new vehicle, a completely new C-SUV, will be built on the Renault Group Modular Platform, the same one used for the long-awaited launch of the Kardian, scheduled for March 2024.
This investment, added to the R$5,1 billion allocated since 2021, solidifies the automaker's presence in the state of Paraná and strengthens its contribution to the local economy.

The announcement coincides with the celebration of Renault's 25th anniversary in Paraná, highlighting the partnership between the company and the state government.
Governor Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior highlighted the importance of this investment for the state, stating that Paraná is experiencing a positive economic moment, with GDP growth of 8,6% in the first half of this year and the creation of more than 115 thousand empregos until October.
Renault: A global industry
The acting president, Geraldo Alckmin, recognized Renault's strategic role in the national automotive scene, placing Brazil as the eighth largest player in the global segment.
He also highlighted the growth vision of the Brazilian automotive industry, driven by innovation and sustainability, characteristics present at Renault.
Luiz Fernando Pedrucci, CEO of Renault in Latin America, emphasized that Brazil is not only a market for the company, but also a production base.
Renault is already the largest exporter in Paraná, and the expansion of the Ayrton Senna Complex represents not only a local investment, but a reinforcement of the automaker's global position.
New model manufactured by Renault and the opening of new job vacancies
Ricardo Gondo, president of Renault do Brasil, revealed that the new vehicle announced will be the second produced in Brazil as part of the International Game Plan.
This move expands the product range manufactured in Paraná, generating new jobs and projects.
Furthermore, the vehicle will use an engine produced at the Ayrton Senna Complex by Horse, a Renault Group company dedicated to the development of hybrid engines with low CO₂ emissions.

Opened in 1998, the Ayrton Senna Industrial Complex is a fundamental part of the Brazilian automotive industry.
With an area of 2,5 million square meters, the site houses Renault and partner factories, as well as being an export hub for Latin America.
Recognized by the World Economic Forum as a reference in Industry 4.0, the unit generates around 5,3 direct jobs and 25 indirect jobs.
